Girl from the Gallows

The towns-people speculated that a purge of the suspected would cure the afflicted village so they established the deathly decree. When all of the condemned were suspended on the crude gallows, it marked the end of the hunt. Though the inanimate bodies swayed among the branches, the nefarious spirit remained.
