Inanna Ishtar

Adorned in royal treasures and equipped with the powers of a deity, the ancient Mesopotamian Goddess; Innana / Ishtar prepares for her journey to the underworld. Upon arrival she is stripped of her abilities and put to death as punishment for entering the dreaded realm. After being killed, her lifeless body is hung on wall where it would spend 3 days and 3 nights:sun:. Finally she is resurrected and restored with the knowledge of the "dark city."
